Kira Solari
Philosophic PHOTOGRAPHER
I am a freelance photographer with a passion for an artistic perspective. I stumbled upon my love for photography to be my outlet for finding creative inspiration to battle my depression.
Finding light within my moments of darkness, capturing moments of beauty to revitalize my enjoyment of life itself.
"Self Taught"
My story isn't as unique or captivating as it could happen to anyone. My first camera was my phone, I often found inspiration walking trails with friends, capturing friends pets during silly moments, or just something cool looking. When I realized I had a good eye for noticing art within the life around me, was when my uncle bought my Mirrorless Olympus OM-D E Mark IV. I quickly starting going to YouTube, what is an F-Stop, Exposure, Shutter Speed, ISO, and etc. I spent that summer in Alaska taking photos of everything big and small. I started with my first editing software that incorporated AI called Luminar Neo. I also created my photography Instagram, my first non-personal social media page, where I only followed other photographers, editors, videographers and now models. I manipulated my algorithm in a why that my feed would be beneficial to my career. Learning poses, angles, and composite subconsciously through scrolling.
The Pondering Eye
Lingering where others pass by, captivated by the fleeting interplay of light and shadow, the unspoken dialogue between colors, or the quiet emotion etched in a stranger’s face. Their gaze is a question, searching for meaning in the mundane and wonder in the overlooked. Framing moments not for what they are but for what they could become—a reflection of thoughts, memories, or dreams. With every click of the shutter, capturing not just an image but a moment of profound curiosity and connection with the world around them.
Artistically Abstract
Envisioning beyond the literal, transforming the ordinary into a symphony of shapes, colors, and textures. The lens becomes a paintbrush, and the canvas is the world—distorted reflections in puddles, the interplay of shadows on a weathered wall, or the fleeting dance of light through a cracked windowpane. To thrive on ambiguity, embracing the challenge of conveying emotion without form, meaning without structure. Every image they create is an invitation to pause, question, and immerse oneself in the beauty of the undefined, where interpretation is as unique as the viewer’s imagination.
